in mountain view we have buses, a small taxi service shared with some neighboring towns, and a train that runs to practically anywhere in wyoming. take your pick.

mountain view has a rich side, a middle class side, and a low-income side. not to mention there's a small apartment building and if you're really struggling, a motel room might turn into your home.

bought by grandaddy morel and named after himself, this ranch was passed down to the next morel generation. it makes the morel family well known in mountain view. a pretty house sits on a large piece of land. a freshly painted barn is home to twenty eight horses, some fifty chickens, two goats and a whole bunch of cattle who spend their days roaming the land. feel free to stop by stranger, the morels are a warm family open to visitors; just call in from the front gate. there are trail rides daily.

this is a big hit in mountain view. every weekend there are a few events held here. whether it's a legitimate rodeo or just some fun events you won't be dissapointed. some big names might pop in too.

it's a small school for a small town. the grades go from freshman to senior year and the big sport is football. everybody turns out for the games rain or shine.

well isn't that a mouthful? anyway, this is the community college located not so far away from mountain view. shared by the rest of the county, you're sure to meet a lot of new faces.

nestled against the northern slope of these mountains lies mountain view. if you're feeling adventurous why not try to take a hike up there? careful, you wouldn't want to get lost.

it's an outdoor recreation area. you can boat, fish, water ski or anything else that floats your boat. i wouldn't swim here though, you never know when out of control boats will hit you.

there are some running paths, two playgrounds, and some trees dotted here and there to make a beautiful park. perfect for daytrips with the family.

nobody really pays attention to what the beach is called, so they just call it the beach. it's a man made beach that's built off of one of the rivers that run by mountain view. there's a beach volleyball net set up too.

named after the original owner's late wife, the diner has been passed through the family unchanged. there's still the checkered floor and the juke box. it's a popular hangout spot with mouth-watering food.

aka the gym. there's a pool, gyms and a weight room. there's a room of treadmills and conveniently enough, a day care center. lots of teens work here because you get a free membership.

mountain view residences have to go slightly out of their way for any major shopping. luckily, there's a little strip mall of stores for when you need them. there's a tiny grocery store, a thrift shop, some local stores, and so forth. if you know where to look there are some pretty great finds.
