so i know these aren't everyone's favourite thing, but they have to be said and followed by everyone. it's for your own good.

COMING TO LIFE.

.001 you can register with whatever name you want, as long as it’s not offensive. after you register, please change your display name to your characters full name in all caps and put a period on the end. It should look something like this: YVETTE JOHANNA MOREL.

.002 after your display name is changed, grab the app. and begin filling it out. please, please, please make sure you post it in the correct sub-board. if you don’t, it will be ignored and eventually moved, then it’s a pain for us both. so post in the correct sub-board, please. and when you post it, post as follows: LAST, FIRST MIDDLE.

.003 when filling in the app., it’s important that you fill in all sections completely and how it’s described. we don’t want to have to read crazy things that are completely irrelevant and get confused. it makes the acceptance process a lot longer.

.004 there will be a part of your application that says, “what are the magic words?” you’re going to answer that with, “there seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere.”

.005 after your application is posted, please be patient. i’ll do my best to accept you quickly, but no promises of course. if by some chance your pending, there will be a list of things that you will need to change. don’t argue, just fix ‘em and reply to your application when they’re fixed so i know to look at it again. if you don’t reply, i’ll wait five days and then deny you. there’s no reason for me to constantly check in on your progress; it’s your job to let me know when i can accept you. if you’re confused on what needs to be fixed, please PM me.

.006 no mary sues or gary stues. Quite frankly they’re a bit annoying to run into. sure, drama is fun, but don’t have everything in your charrie’s life be horrible or fabulous. have a nice little mix like in real life.

.007 i hate to address this, but with the cannon’s list is first come first serve. if you don’t reserve and post an unfinished app., but somebody reserves and posts an unfinished app., i’m going to give my top priority to the smarty who reserved. talking about taking a charrie in the cbox is not the same as reserving. the same is with the face claim. so check and reserve claims before you begin your app!

GRACING THE STREETS.

.001 respect is the number one rule on this site. respect each other, and especially the staff. we work hard; the last thing we need is to have to deal with rude members. we won’t tolerate it. if there’s a problem with another member, don’t hesitate to PM a staff member to help get everything straightened out. i know we all learned this in kindergarten, but really, treat people the way you want to be treated. ‘nough said.

.002 we work on a system of warnings. depending on your offense, you may get seven warnings, you may get no warning. i’m the final judge, so if i think you deserve a second chance, you might get one. prove to me i won’t have to worry about warnings.

.003 this site is rated PG-13. yes, drugs, sex, swearing – it’s all allowed. however, keep in mind that there may be people on the younger end of the spectrum. i don’t want excessive swearing or graphic situations. if you feel the need to get detailed, put a nice big [M] in your title as a warning, but don’t be surprised if i tell you to tone it down whether you have the warning or not.

.004 godmodding is annoying. don’t do it, okay?

.005 so i've gotten a good insight from somebody i work with on another site, and decided to lift the word count. this does not mean i'm letting you skimp by on a one paragraph post. in your application, the sample must be at least 350, but every where else you just need to do your best - but if i notice people putting out 100 word posts daily, i'm going to put the word count back.

.001 so we like to keep things organized here. when you’re done with a thread, leave an extra post that only says, ‘finished,’ or something of the sort. so that when staff mosey on by they’ll notice a really simple post and take care of it for ya - or better yet! PM an admin to move the thread. nobody likes clutter.

.002 if we move something that you want moved back, ask us and we’ll move it back for you, just keep in mind that we’ll move it once and once only unless there’s a reason.

.003 graphics are very pretty, don’t you think? if you can’t make them yourself drop by the graphics shoppe’s and find someone to your liking to make them. please, keep the naughty photos off of our site. we’re much too classy for that.

.004 i lied earlier. in the part of your application that says, “what are the magic words?” you’re going to answer, “reach for the sky.” you won’t get accepted unless those are the magic words you use.

.005 graphics are required, otherwise your taking a pb from somebody else and you look like the odd one out. signatures can be no more than 500x350, but those are a bit big, so the ideal size, and the smallest that they can be, is 400x200. avatars can be no small than 100x100, but can be no bigger than 125x200.

.006 playbys must be real people. they cannot be you or your friends. there must be easy access to their photos. no myspace models or photobucket finds. deviantart doesn't count either. if you're nice i might make an exception, but don't hold me to that.

so i believe that's it. rules are subject to change.
